Woodhouse joins the Mix Country 106 family

Radio legend Woodhouse joins KMXC Mix Country 106! Catch his new show starting April 29, 2025, weekdays from 8 AM–1 PM Central. Get ready for laughs, wild stories, and unpredictable fun!

[Des Moines, IA] — KMXC Mix Country 106 is thrilled to welcome a true radio legend to our airwaves — Woodhouse!

Starting Tuesday, April 29, 2025, Woodhouse will kick off his new show, airing weekdays from 8 AM to 1 PM Central Time, bringing his legendary humor, zany personality, and unpredictable energy to your mornings and mid-days. In addition, you might just hear him popping up on Bar Talk Happy Hour from time to time when a guest host is needed.

Known across the radio world for his unmatched style and one-of-a-kind delivery, Woodhouse is already a fan favorite at WNBZ-FM in Saranac, New York. Now, Mix Country 106 listeners will get their own daily dose of his legendary antics.

A Lifetime of Radio… and Radiation?

Woodhouse’s passion for broadcasting can be traced all the way back to infancy — literally. As a baby, he lived down the road from a radio station’s transmission tower. Our staff physician estimates he’s endured nearly two decades of moderate-to-heavy RF exposure, which might explain not just his undying love for radio, but also a few of his more peculiar quirks!

His broadcasting career officially kicked off in high school, where he and friends Wil and Kyle operated a network of pirate radio stations. Eventually — mainly because adulting (and paying bills) became necessary — Woodhouse went legit in 2014. He’s been cracking up listeners and keeping it real on the airwaves ever since.

What You Can Expect

Woodhouse is famous for the fact that the connection between his mouth and brain is… well, questionable at best. It’s part of what makes every moment with him unforgettable. You truly never know what he’s going to say next — but one thing’s guaranteed: he’s here to bring a good time. His style is energetic, genuine, and often hilarious (he tries very hard).

When he’s not on the air, you can find Woodhouse rattling off random, extremely useless trivia or getting into questionable DIY projects in his workshop. A word to the wise: never leave him unsupervised with a table saw, a staple gun, or a blowtorch.

Tune In and Buckle Up!

Be sure to catch the debut of Woodhouse’s new show on Tuesday, April 29, 2025, and every Monday through Friday after that, from 8 AM to 1 PM Central Time — only on KMXC Mix Country 106 — Real American Country Music! Whether you need a laugh, a lift, or just some plain old-fashioned fun, he’s bringing it all to your radio dial.

Welcome to the Mix Country 106 family, Woodhouse — we’re not sure what we’ve gotten ourselves into, but we’re excited to find out!
