About KMXC-DB | Mix Country 106

History

Mix Country 106 is proud of its origins, playing some of the world's greatest country music. Now, we are even more excited to play what could arguably be the best country styling straight out of Texas. We are spreading this greatness to our local community, starting in Iowa, where we're based, and hope to share this awesome format with an even larger global audience.
Mix Country 106 was initially founded in 2009. Back then, a young Odie (Coyote) Lofton, straight out of studying broadcasting, wanted to build a platform to share all the most incredible country music from the 80's, 90s & 00's. This was a great success, attracting listeners in 100 different countries with a hit show, "Honky-Tonk Saturdays," being simulcasted across multiple online stations, reaching an even larger audience. Mix Country 106 did take an extended break for many reasons that don't mean too much now because we're back and excited about our brand new version of Mix Country 106, which launched in late March 2022. We'd love your support and listenership. Please visit our website, www.mixcountry106.com, and our social media pages @MixCountry106 for updates and news.

Co-owner / On-Air Personality

Hi, I’m Odie Coyote Lofton, the main personality of Mix Country 106. I’m also the co-owner, along with my wife, Raven Lofton. You might also meet my long-lost second cousin, Dr. Odie Love, twice removed. I hope you stick around and hear me on air most days. I’ve got a lot to say, and I hope you give me a listen. God Bless!

Co-owner / Music Director / Producer

Raven Lofton, better known as “Producer Raven,” is the station producer for live shows and co-hosts The Bar Talk Happy Hour with her husband, Odie Lofton (Odie Coyote). She's also a co-owner and the station's Music Director. She’s always adding a bit of spunk to the show. Her input, tedious work with our automation system changes, and website updates make her an invaluable part of KMXC Mix Country 106. The station certainly wouldn’t be the same without her.
